About the company

Smith Austin was originally Hewitt & Co which was established by Mike Hewitt. Nick Smith became a partner in 1993 and over the years Hewitt & Co built up an enviable reputation for providing excellent, professional service to all clients. Emma Austin joined the company in 2004 and the practice name changed in May 2010 after Emma Austin became co-owner alongside existing owner Nick Smith. Since then, the practice has grown and we continue to build on and enhance our reputation.
